Safety Saturday: Keep Your Car Keys On Your Nightstand
Keep your car keys on your nightstand.
If like millions of Americans, your key-fob contains a panic alert button, and your car is typically in range of your bedroom.
During an emergency, pressing the panic button on your keys will cause the horn of your car to blast and its headlights to flash. This could potentially save lives during a home invasion by scaring criminals away, alerting neighbors to the fact that an emergency situation is unfolding, and helping police to more quickly find your home.
